Founder and Teacher
My teaching journey began at Finger Lakes Christian School in Seneca Falls, New York, where I taught science from 2014 to 2017. I went on to graduate with a BA in Science Education from Western Governors University and earn my professional teacher certification from the state of Idaho. I taught science at Priest River Lamanna Jr/Sr High School from April 2021 to June 2025. Through these experiences, I witnessed firsthand the limitations of traditional schools in truly meeting students’ diverse needs.
In March 2025, God called me to start a non-traditional Christian school, leading to the creation of Thrive Christian Academy. My vision is a one-room schoolhouse where individualized learning thrives, students learn from those more advanced, and older students mentor the younger ones, fostering a community of growth, faith, and collaboration.
